The Life of William Bobby Fowler

William Booby Fowler was born in Raleigh, NC on December 14,1943 and departed this life May 1, 2024, at Shady Grove Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Rockville Maryland. He was the son of the late William (Buck) Fowler and Louella Fowler. Bobby as he was affectionately called was proceeded in death by his wife of 16 years Lena Fowler, Sisters Jeanette Fowler, Cora Lee Fuller and brothers William Evans and Leroy Evans and Bonus Daughter Lorraine Ann Taylor. 

Bobby worked for Hood College for several years and was a great asset to Fredrick County Parks and Recreation until his retirement. He took great pride in his work and was always complimented on a job well done. He was always bragging about his daughters and his family to people that he knew and met. He was full of love, laughter and wisdom. We are Thankful for the 80 years God blessed him with. Bobby prided himself in wearing his suits and hats even his casual wear. His shoe and sock game were always on point.

Bobby leaves to cherish his memories his daughters Sharon Antionette Fowler Clayton, NC, Lois Yvette Fowler Raleigh, NC, Wanda Michelle Dobbin (Virgil) Selma, NC, Zona Yolanda Fussell (Sean) Raleigh, NC and Nefertiti Fowler (Lance) of the home. One bonus son James Earl Taylor, Jr. His Grandchildren Anton Boddie, Nikiska Boddie, Maya Boddie Tekia Cavanaugh (Chris Cavanaugh), Rashaad Boddie, Khalil Boddie Avanti Boddie, Anya Boddie, Mia Epps, Marquita Epps, Christjian Bryant, Christopher Bryant, Kendrick Fowler, Kimberly Fowler, Anthony Forte, Briana Forte, Easton (EJ) Fowler. Destiny Taylor and Darius Taylor 12 great grandkids, 1great great granddaughter Two sisters Ella Reese Jacobs Fayetteville, NC and Annie Lee Harrington Raleigh, NC. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
