Deziree Walker

Deziree Credle, the loving daughter of the late Howard and Marie Credle was born May 28, 1957 in Brooklyn, New York. She departed this life June 11, 2019 after a lengthy illness. She was the youngest of three children.

At the age of seven years old, her mother passed away, and she moved to Pumphrey, Maryland with her uncle and aunt the late, Alonzo and Ufezean Gainers and they raised her as their own daughter. 

Deziree attended the Anne Arundel County Public Schools and Graduated from the Brooklyn Park High School in 1974. While attending Brooklyn Park High School she met the late James Thomas Graham; two beautiful daughters were born.  

She was employed at the BWI Airport. She loved children and was always willing to help anyone with childcare.

Deziree was baptized and joined the Community Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Salters Burgess. While attending Community, she was a member of the Junior Ushers, Junior Choir and the Gospel Chorus.

In 1993 She met the love of her life, Curtis Walker and they were married on August 17, 1997.

She later transferred her membership to the New Hope Sabbath Christian Center in Pasadena, Maryland under the leadership of Dr. E. Lavern Gaither and Pastor Vernon Osborne and was a faithful member. She served on the Usher Ministry.

Deziree was well known for dancing. She loved music when she heard her favorite song you would see her snapping her fingers and showing off her dance moves. She loved to hang out with her family and friends, you would see her shopping, getting her nails done and eating crabs. Deziree enjoyed life to the fullest, you would always see her with her close friends the late Evelyn Adams, Jose and Charlene Dove.

She was preceded in death by her sister Diane Credle, sister in-laws Shelia Jennette and Vivian Credle.

Deziree leaves to cherish her loving memories to her husband Curtis; two daughters, Sherita Carter and Gia Graham;  three brothers James Credle, Thomas Gainers (Delores) and Henry Jennette; six grandchildren, Darian (Charnelle), Reginal, Daeshon, Daequan Carter, Nakiyah Graham and Breyon Eaton; three great-grandchildren Darian Jr, De’Miyah and Cayden; three brother-In Laws, and three sister in-Laws. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
