Willie Thomas Ross, 100, of Brooklyn Park Maryland, entered eternal rest peacefully at home, Friday, February 17, 2023. Born January 7, 1923, in Bolton, North Carolina. He is predeceased by his parents, Minnie and Willie Ross; and only daughter, Minnie Ross-Turner.

Willie was a faithful and loyal member of Bethel A.M.E. Church, Baltimore, Maryland.

A noble, hard-working, reserved, compassionate, strong, loving & kindhearted are some of the attributes that comes to mind when you reflect on, who we once knew and affectionately called Grand Daddy, also known to some as "Grand Pa Willy'. He was a giant of a man who loved and cherished his wife Martha Ross dearly. Everyone no matter gender or age, can attest that Grandpa Willy was a heck of a good man as their visible love proved true that they were inseparable as two peas in a pod! He was a faithful man of God and remained so up to the end. He loved the Lord with all his heart!

He led an exemplary life and instilled in us good family values & morals. He was more than a good man personified, who led and lived a full life with no complaints until the end. He came from humble beginnings and remained steadfast and strong until the very end.

Willie is survived by his loving and faithful wife Martha Ross, grandson Kevin Turner (Anishka), great-grandchildren Ashley Turner, Devin Turner and Kevani Turner, great-great-grandson Ashton Guest and many extended family members whom he cherished. A private service is being held by the family.
