Booze

Wesley Summerfield Booze, the eighth born of eight children to the late Isaac and Eleanor Booze in Baltimore, Maryland on January 20, 1918.
Wesley was united in matrimony to the late Mildred Pinkney Booze on May 10, 1942, in Meridian, Mississippi. She preceded him in death on February 22, 2016. Wesley was a faithful and lifetime member of St John United Methodist Church for at least 80 years. Wesley often stated that the "church was all that he knew, because he grew up in the church". His mother passed away when he was 9 years old and his four sisters helped to raise him, while their father worked at Curtis Bay, Maryland for years. Wesley was drafted into the United States Army on October 13, 1941, and served in World War II from 1941-1945 and the date of separation was December 10, 1945. As 1st MSgt. He served in the Korean War in 1950 in the Army reservist unit. He later received an honorable discharge with a distinguished title of specialist administrator from the United States Army.
He leaves to delight in his memory, five nieces: five nephews, four great nieces, and four great -great nieces, and goddaughter Deanna Miles Brown and a host of cousins, relatives, and friends.
