Obituary

Deaconess Peggy Delores Beckett, beloved daughter of the late Howard Washington Beckett and Geneva Annie Simpkins-Beckett, was born on April 17, 1933. She departed this life on August 8, 2016 after a lengthy illness.

Peggy was a faithful member of Nicodemus Baptist Church. As a member of Nicodemus, she was a deaconess and member of the trustee board Peggy received her education from the Baltimore City School System. After completion of high school, she worked and retired from Providence Hospital, which later became Liberty Medical Center.

Peggy leaves to cherish her wisdom, five children, Denise Clary, Robert Beckett, Robin Beckett, Michael Beckett and Roslyn Beckett. one son in-law Angelo, two daughter in -laws. Thomasina and Yvonne, one sister in-law Lenora. Peggy had five sisters and four brothers that preceded her in death. She also leaves ten grandchildren, Tyrone, Nelson, Angelo Jr, Dennis, Elijah, Shant'e, Tamika, LaToya, Deonna, David Jr, great grandchildren, great great children and a host of other relatives and friends.
