L ater he married Brenda Lyles and from that union they had three children, Teidra Lyles, Katonia Lyles and Leon Lyles, Jr.

Leon met his loving life-long companion, Joyce Washington, who he shared 35 years of his life with. Joyce was by Leon's bedside during his illness. She displayed a sense of compassion and understanding while taking care of him. From this relationship, he had twin boys, Antoine Lyles and Andre Lyles.

Leon Lyles was truly blessed and lived his life the way he wanted to.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Lyles; his loving mother, Ruth Lyles; his beloved daughter, Teidra Lyles; his son, Leon Lyles, Jr. and his sister, Carol Lyles.

He leaves to cherish in his memory: three sons, Vantourist, Antoine and Andre Lyles; three daughters, Katonia Hall, Antoinette Washington-Allison (Austin), and Marquita Perry; three brothers, Charles (Sylvia), Sidney and Jerome (Francis) Lyles; one sister, Ruth Lyles (Butch); a very loving companion, Joyce Washington and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
