James Edward Williams son of George Massey and Bettie Williams was born on June 23, 1960 in Baltimore, Maryland. He suddenly and quietly departed this life on Wednesday, February 11, 2015.
James received his education from the Baltimore City Public Schools System. His school days were joyful and filled with fun. As he learned his way around the neighborhood he ran, played, loved, and met lifelong friends. He graduated from Baltimore Community College with an Associates of Arts degree in Accounting. James was currently employed at Broadway Services.
In 1984, James met his life partner Pamela Hill. He helped raise her three children: Vicki Tyson-Farr, Ricky Tyson and Robert Tyson.
James was affectionately known as "Pop", "Honey", or "Jew". He was a very devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Pop was such a "Gentle Giant". He was a kind, loving and caring person.
He leaves to mourn: his wife, Pamela Hill; his mother, Bettie Williams; his father, George Massey; one daughter, Vicki Tyson-Farr (Johnny); two sons, Ricky and Robert Tyson; one sister, Anditria Williams; one brother, Walter (Roy) Williams; thirteen grandchildren; two great granddaughters; five sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; one mother-in-law, Barbara Hill; one Goddaughter and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
