IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Hannah
Brown
March 11, 1947 – September 19, 2015
Obituary
Hannah Marie Beverly-Brown was born to the late Alphonzo and Martha Beverly on March 11, 1947 in Richmond, Virginia. At an early age Hannah and family moved to Baltimore, Maryland. Where she later received her education in the public schools system. Hannah was always a determined person that worked hard on her accomplishments of opening two food stores. Hannah loved the fact that she was raised with a Christian background and had a grandfather for a Pastor. She loved to spread the word of God. Whether it be through song, scripture or just plain old talking. Even if you didn't want to hear it (smile).
Hannah was baptized in the name of Jesus at a young age. She fellowshipped with many different congregations. But the love that united her at United Methodist Church pushed her to join. She became a faithful and dedicated member to her entire church family. Hannah had many gifts, but God gave her the gift of singing. Which she loved to do and did well.
Hannah was also a great leader in the Cherry Hill Community, where she was dearly loved. She was just an all in all, out going loving person. But she never had a problem telling it how it was. Her love for her family was unconditional, especial the love that she had for her long time spouse, Johnnie Brown, Sr.
Hannah was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Brown, Sr. and two (2) of her children, Charlene and Demetrius Brown.
Hannah leaves to cherish her memories, four (4) children, Martha, Victor, Micheal and Johnnie Brown, Jr.; sixteen (16) stepchildren, Barbara, Janet, Johnnie, Leon, Priscilla, Ronald, Kenneth, Victor, Pam, Andria, Cynthia, Edith, Mary, Valrie, Torrey and Roslyn; Eleven (11) grandchildren, three (3) of whom she raised as her own, Micheal, Derek, Shantelle, (Quentina), Michelle, (Demetrice), Michael, Myron, Mustafa, (Samuel) and Darius; an anormous amount of great and great-great grandchildren; two (2) sisters, Ester Alexander and Ernestine Brown; one (1) brother, Howard Beverly; one (1) brother-in-law, Rev. George Alexander; three (3) daughters-in-law, Teresa, Robbin and Tyra Brown; one (1) god child, Debbie; three (3) close friends, Mae, Naomie and Shirley; a life long friend, Flossine Lucas. Also a God sent angels who took care of her during her last days, Nicole and Tonya and a host of family and friends.
