Gossie Talbott, Sr. passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 2, 2021 in Baltimore, Maryland at the age of 95.  Gossie was born in Sollers, MD to the late Jonas Talbott who is fondly known as James, and Liza Moore affectionately known as Eliza.

He was the beloved husband to dearly departed Margaret Talbot.  He married Margaret Vaughn and the couple welcomed six (6) children into their home. His children remember him as a kind father.  Gossie was educated by the Anne Arundel County Public School System.  He was employed by General Refactory and Comfort Springs in his early years prior to enlisting in the United States Navy USNRS on October 21, 1943.  Gossie was an accomplished laborer during his time and earned an honorable discharge for his service to our nation.  He was a generous individual who loved people and who was passionate about his children.

He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Vaugh. Talbot; children Gossie Talbot I., Melvin Talbot, Thomas Talbot, Sandra (Vaughn) Talbot and Myra (McDonald) Talbot.  Gossie leaves to mourn his passing Gossie Talbot, Jr.; his brother Thomas Talbot, Sr, (Mary); son-in-law Clifton Vaughn Sr. and a host of nephews, nieces, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
