Antionette Marie Tibbs-Marshall was born on May 6, 1969 to Jessie V. Tibbs, Sr., and to the late Stella L. Matthews. On Saturday, November 7, 2015 God called down from heaven for Antionette to be one of his beautiful angels.
"Nette" as she was affectionately called by family and friends spent her early years in Laurel, Maryland before moving to Severn, Maryland. She was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Bacontown. She received her education in the Anne Arundel County public school system and was a graduate of Meade Senior High School in 1988. She furthered her education at Anne Arundel Community College majoring in business. Later in her career, Nette worked in daycare as well as healthcare for many years. She enjoyed helping others. She had a kind and giving heart, always smiling and making others smile.
She adored her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed collecting pet fish and turtles with her grandchildren and hanging out with her GM Babies. Nette was always encouraging others to live life to the fullest, be supportive to others and love one another. She thrived to keep everyone's spirits up with her positive thinking.
She loved to play bingo, card and board games and enjoyed family gatherings. She was passionate about dancing and would say, "Ain't no party like an Antionette party cause an Antionette party don't stop." She was an avid TV watcher of CSI and the NFL. Nette posed for many pictures. She became her own selfie queen
