IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Annette F.
Norris
May 13, 1937 – July 3, 2014
Annette F. Norris, daughter of the late Frank Matthews and Helen A. Gaither was born on May 13, 1937 in Baltimore, Maryland. After a brief illness, she departed this life on July 3, 2014
She was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System. She later met and married Frank Norris and from this union two children were born, Lynnise and Frank. Annette held several jobs with the state of Maryland, at the Motor Vehicle Administration and the Unemployment Office. She eventually landed a job with the United States Post Office where she worked until her retirement in 1992.
Annette was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother. During her earlier years, she was the "block mother," all of the neighborhood children were always welcome in her home and she treated them like her own. She loved having everyone there and she enjoyed being a part of their lives. She will be truly missed by all that knew her.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Harrison Mosley, III.
She leaves to cherish her life and memory: her daughter, Lynnise Norris; her son-in-law, Raymond King; her son, Frank G. Norris; her daughter-in-law, Theresa Norris; her grandchildren, Anisa Norris, Frank G. Norris, III., Te'Sean Norris and Shakeia Norris; her great-grandchildren, Nykiah Collins, Isiah Norris, Na'Sean Norris, Linnea Wortham, Carter Norris and Marlie Spence; her great-great granddaughter and special joy, Ashanti Collins and an adopted son, Joel B. Hall of Oklahoma City, OK.
God looked around his garden and found an empty space.
Then he looked down upon this earth and saw your tired face.
He put His arms around you and lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful, He only takes the best.
Your Loving Granddaughters,
Kim Saunders and Anisa Norris
