IN LOVING MEMORY OF

Amos William Barnes, son of the late William and Myrtle Virginia Wheatly Barnes was born on August 14, 1932, in Baltimore, Maryland. He transitioned on December 7, 2015.
Amos was educated in the Baltimore Public School System. He enlisted in the United States Army during the Korean conflict and was honorably discharged. He was employed by several companies in the Baltimore area before becoming employed as a Janitor for the Baltimore City Public Schools. He worked at Cherry Hill Junior High School #180 and later at Violetville Elementary School retiring after 36 years of service.
Amos affectionately known by his siblings as "Bubble" and friends as "Cool Breeze or "Breeze" lived a simple life. He was not a frequent church goer but, he accepted Christ as his personal Savior. He loved to listen the latest hits and do his solo dance to the music.
His daughter, Janice Sellman and five brothers, William (Butch), Ernest, Edward, Robert and Leroy Barnes and a devoted friend, Phyllis Sellman preceded him in death.
Amos leaves to hold in cherish memory his son, Kevin and his daughter-in-law, Roslyn (Cookie); granddaughters, Pier and Tiffany; grandson, Kevin, Jr.; great-granddaughters, Quinn, Taylor and Tayrn; his brother, Albert Barnes; grandson-in-law, Gary Johnson; two sisters-in-law, Alice Geraldine and Doretha Barnes; nephews, nieces, which includes, Jacqueline Barnes, who he called "His Ace Boon-Coon," cousins, other relatives and friends.
He will be surely missed by his devoted friend, Yvonne Spellman and her family.
There comes a time for all of us, When we must say goodbye
But faith, hope, love and trust
Can never, never die;
And trust in God's Eternal love So when the Master Calls
Let's say that life is still more fair Although the curtain falls.
Respectfully Submitted
